Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and contracts (or purchase orders) for high-purity cobalt.
This standard applies to high-purity cobalt used in magnetic sensing materials, light-sensitive materials, magnetic recording sputtering targets, ion plating, evaporation plating, the manufacture of high-purity reagents, standard samples, and high-purity alloys, among other applications.
