This document establishes a safety management procedure for the entire process of cold storage facilities, from design to demolition, and stipulates the safety management requirements for the design of cold storage facilities, equipment selection and configuration, cold storage construction and construction, cold storage management and operation, and cold storage demolition, as well as the transition conditions for the above stages, and describes the verification methods.
This document applies to the safety management of new construction, expansion, modification, operation, and demolition of cold storage facilities (cold rooms) mainly used for low-temperature storage of food, which adopt artificial refrigeration to reduce temperature and have cold insulation functions, as well as indoor prefabricated cold storage facilities.
Note: There are two different types of cold storage facilities: building-type cold storage facilities/cold rooms (GB 50072) and equipment-type indoor prefabricated cold storage facilities (SB/T 10797). When no distinction is made, they are collectively referred to as "cold storage facilities" or "cold rooms". When distinction is necessary, they are respectively called "building-type cold storage facilities (cold rooms)" and "indoor prefabricated cold storage facilities".
