This standard specifies the terms and definitions of unit product energy consumption (hereinafter referred to as "energy consumption") for flat glass, tempered glass, photovoltaic laminated glass, and cast stone; the energy consumption limit grade; technical requirements; energy consumption correction coefficients; statistical scope; and calculation methods.
This standard applies to the calculation and assessment of energy consumption, as well as the energy consumption control of new and expanded projects, for enterprises that produce transparent and colored soda-calcium-silica flat glass products by the float process, tempered glass products by the horizontal tempering method, photovoltaic laminated glass products by the laminating method, and cast stone products.
This standard does not apply to enterprises that produce ordinary embossed glass, wired glass, or special flat glass products for aerospace, electronics, and information industries, nor to enterprises that produce automotive tempered glass, chemically tempered glass, or tempered glass products produced by methods other than horizontal tempering.
