GB 4706.17-2010 Household and similar electrical appliances—Safety—Particular requirements for motor-compressors
Abstract
The chapter of GB 4706.1-2005 is replaced by the following content.
This part of GB 4706 specifies the safety of electric motors-compressors for household and similar purposes.
This part applies to hermetically sealed (fully enclosed and semi-enclosed) electric motors-compressors used in household and similar devices, as well as their protective devices and control systems (if any). Their use for household and similar purposes must comply with the standards of the corresponding devices. This part applies to electric motors-compressors with a rated voltage of not more than 250 V for single-phase and not more than 480 V for three-phase, which are tested under the most severe conditions during normal use.
