This document defines the terms and definitions of GB/T 34590, as well as abbreviations. This document applies to safety-related systems containing one or more electrical/electronic systems installed in mass-produced road vehicles except for light motorcycles. This document does not apply to specific electrical/electronic systems on special-purpose vehicles, such as those designed for disabled drivers. Note: Other dedicated safety standards can be used as supplements to this document, and vice versa. Systems and their components that have already been put into production or are being developed before the date of this document's release are not applicable to this document. When changes are made to systems and their components that have already been put into production before the date of this document's release, this document applies these changes to the safety lifecycle activities. When integrating systems developed in accordance with this document with systems not developed in accordance with this document, the safety lifecycle activities need to be tailored in accordance with this document. This document addresses potential hazards caused by functional abnormalities of safety-related electrical/electronic systems, including those caused by the interaction of these systems. This document does not address hazards related to electric shock, fire, smoke, heat, radiation, toxicity, flammability, reactivity, corrosivity, energy release, etc., unless these hazards are directly caused by functional abnormalities of safety-related electrical/electronic systems. This document proposes a framework for functional safety development of safety-related electrical/electronic systems, which aims to integrate functional safety activities into enterprise-specific development frameworks. This document specifies the technical development requirements for achieving product functional safety, as well as the development process requirements for organizations to possess corresponding funct
