GB/T 3535-2006

This standard specifies the method for determining the pour point of petroleum products. It also describes the test steps for determining the pour point of fuel oil, heavy lubricating oil base oil, and products containing residual fuel components (see 6.10). Note: A dedicated method for determining the pour point of crude oil is currently under research, but the general test steps described in this standard can also be used to determine the pour point of crude oil. It should be noted that some crude oils require special pretreatment to avoid the loss of volatile substances. The determination of the precision of this standard was obtained without including crude oil samples (see the note in Chapter 8).
