This document primarily addresses the major hazards, dangerous situations, and incidents involved in cold sawing ferrous or non-ferrous metals using the various metal sawing machines listed in Chapter 3 (including auxiliary equipment such as workpiece clamping devices, cooling systems, and feeding mechanisms). Chapter 4 of this document lists the major hazard factors of metal sawing machines. It stipulates that manufacturers must adhere to key safety requirements during the design and manufacturing process of sawing machines. At the same time, this document also serves as a guide for manufacturers to provide users with essential safety information regarding the use of sawing machines. It can also serve as the basis for safety requirements in other processing methods (such as milling, boring, marking, and finishing). For detailed information, please refer to the references. This document addresses noise hazards, but does not provide comprehensive noise testing specifications. Such specifications will be drafted in the next revision of this document. This document does not include requirements and safety measures for fire and explosion hazards. These will be addressed in the next revision of this document. This document applies to (metal) sawing machines produced after its implementation.
