GB/T 42691.8-2023 Road vehicles—Local Interconnect Network(LIN)—Part 8:Electrical physical layer(EPL) specification: LIN over DCpowerline(DC-LIN)
Abstract
This document specifies the additional electrical physical layer (EPL) requirements for the Local Interconnect Network (LIN), including electrical characteristics, transmission modulation methods, and how to apply carrier signals to DC power lines. Transmission via DC power lines without affecting the higher layers of LIN (hereinafter referred to as DC-LIN).
DC-LIN EPL uses high-frequency modulated carriers to transmit UART bytes (byte-oriented) via DC power lines.
DC-LIN EPL supports bit rates of 9615 bit/s, 10417 bit/s, and 19230 bit/s.
This document is applicable to a wide range of DC power lines (including 12 V and 24 V), allowing communication between different DC power lines through coupling capacitors. Appendix A describes an example of the DC-LIN EPL interface to power lines.
