Abstract
This standard specifies the terminology, general requirements, evaluation rules, test requirements and inspection methods for the welding of valve sealing surfaces, as well as the recommended format for welding process manuals and welding process evaluation reports.
This standard applies to the process evaluation of manual arc welding, plasma arc welding, and various other welding methods for valve sealing surfaces.
