GB/T 244-2020 Metallic materials—Tube—Bend test method
Abstract
This standard specifies the test principles, test equipment, specimens, test procedures, and test reports for the bending test of metal pipes.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the full-section bending plastic deformation capacity of circular cross-section metal pipes with an outer diameter not exceeding 65 mm. The outer diameter range of metal pipes applicable to this standard can be specified in more detail in the relevant product standards.
Note: The bending test of transverse strip specimens of metal pipes is conducted in accordance with GB/T 232[1] to increase the original bending rate of the specimens.
