T/CAZG 004-2019 Large-sized humanoid ape feeding and management technical specifications
Abstract
This standard specifies the technical requirements for the construction of cages, feed nutrition and feeding, safety management, disease prevention and control, population management, breeding management, and cage loading and transportation during the rearing and management of seven large primates, including the western gorilla (Gorilla gorilla), the eastern gorilla (Gorilla beringei), the chimpanzee (Pan troglodytes), the bonobo (Pan paniscus), and the Bornean orangutan (Pongo pygmaeus), the Sumatran orangutan (Pongo abelii), and the Tapanuli orangutan (Pongo tapanuliensis).
This standard applies to the rearing and management of captive large primates.
