This standard specifies the code representation rules for boring bars (cylindrical handle bars) equipped with replaceable inserts of standard size F (see GB/T 20335). The codes for replaceable turning tools, profiling tools, and tool holders with rectangular handles are specified in GB/T 5343.1.
