Abstract
This standard specifies the minimum requirements for the preparation of dialysis concentrate and dialysis solution, and the reprocessing of dialysis machines used in hemodialysis, hemodialysis filtration, and online hemodialysis or online hemodialysis filtration.
This standard does not address the operation of water treatment equipment, nor does it address the preparation of dialysis solution for treatment by mixing treated water with concentrate. These operations can only be carried out by professional dialysis personnel.
This standard does not apply to dialysis solution regeneration systems.
