Abstract
This document describes the methods for determining the physical and mechanical properties of fiber ropes. At the request of the client, this document also provides methods for measuring the waterproofness of ropes, the content of lubricating oil, and treatment agents.
This document is applicable to the determination of physical and mechanical properties such as the line density, diameter, twist pitch, knot pitch, elongation, and breaking strength of fiber ropes.
