GB/T 39388-2020 Characterization of the performance of illuminance meters and luminance meters
Abstract
This standard applies to illuminometers and luminometers. This standard defines the quality indicators for the performance characterization of the aforementioned equipment used in general lighting measurements, as well as the measurement process and standard calibration procedures for each indicator.
The measurement of illuminance and luminance and their accuracy are influenced by many factors, such as operating conditions, light source characteristics, and the characteristics of the luminometer used. For a specific measurement task, it is impossible to estimate the measurement uncertainty solely based on the characteristics of the luminometer. However, in most cases, the measurement uncertainty of better-performing equipment is smaller than that of less-performing equipment. This standard aims to:
——Provide clear and unambiguous definitions for each quality indicator;
——Specify the measurement steps and methods for quantitatively evaluating these quality indicators;
——Specify the calibration conditions for illuminometers and luminometers.
