This standard specifies the raw materials, lay-up structure, molding process, and mechanical properties of the fiberglass-reinforced plastic laminates (hereinafter referred to as laminates) used in lifeboat hulls, as well as their testing methods.
This standard applies to all types of fiberglass laminates used in lifeboat and rescue boat hulls.
