This part of GB/T 5099 specifies the types and parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, coating, packaging, transportation, storage, product quality certificates, and batch inspection quality certificates of steel seamless gas cylinders subjected to normalizing or normalizing followed by tempering treatment (hereinafter referred to as "gas cylinders"). This part is applicable to the design and manufacture of rechargeable steel seamless gas cylinders with a nominal working pressure not exceeding 15 MPa, a nominal water volume of 0.5 L to 150 L, and an operating temperature range of -20 ℃ to 60 ℃, which are used to contain compressed gases or high-pressure liquefied gases. This part is not applicable to automotive gas cylinders and bottle-type pressure vessels attached to machinery and equipment. Note: Steel seamless gas cylinders with a nominal water volume of less than 0.5 L can also be manufactured and inspected in accordance with this part.
