Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, tests, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of semiconductor excitation devices for synchronous motors.
This standard applies to semiconductor excitation devices for synchronous motors installed indoors, which are used for light or heavy load starting, voltage reduction starting, or full voltage starting (hereinafter referred to as the devices).
