This standard specifies the technical requirements, sampling, testing methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, storage, and transportation for dewaxed shellac sheets, decolorized shellac sheets, and decolorized and dewaxed shellac sheets.
This standard applies to shellac sheets processed by solvent dewaxing and decolorization with activated carbon.
