Abstract
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for elevator traction machines with a rated speed of no more than 8.0 m/s.
This standard applies to traction machines for passenger elevators and freight elevators.
This standard does not apply to traction machines for service elevators and residential elevators.
