GB 19510.13-2007 Lamp controlgear—Part 13:Particular requirements for d.c.or a.c.supplied electronic ballasts for discharge lamps(excluding fluorescent lamps)
Abstract
This part specifies the general and safety requirements for DC or AC electronic ballasts. The power supply includes AC power sources with a frequency of 50 Hz/60 Hz and a voltage of less than 1,000 V. Such ballasts are converters equipped with triggering and stabilizing components, which can operate discharge lamps at DC or at a frequency different from the power supply. The lamps compatible with the ballasts are specified in IEC 60188 "High-Pressure Mercury Lamps", IEC 60192 "Low-Pressure Sodium Lamps", IEC 60662 "High-Pressure Sodium Lamps", IEC 61167 "Metal Halide Lamps", and other general lighting source standards. This part does not include ballasts for fluorescent lamps or those used for special lamps in theaters and motor vehicles.
