This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, quality requirements, inspection methods and rules, labeling, packaging, storage, and transportation of sesame oil.
This standard applies to sesame oil, raw sesame oil, sesame fragrance oil, small-grind sesame fragrance oil, and refined sesame oil. The quality indicators for raw sesame oil only apply to the trade of raw oil.
