GB/T 7233.1-2009 Steel castings—Ultrasonic examination—Part 1:Steel castings for general purposes
Abstract
This part of GB/T 7233 specifies the terms and definitions, general requirements, and methods of applying pulse reflection technology to detect internal defects in general-purpose cast steel parts (non-austenitic).
This part is applicable to ultrasonic testing of general-purpose cast steel parts (non-austenitic) after grain refinement heat treatment and with a thickness not exceeding 600 mm. For cast steel parts with a thickness greater than 600 mm, the detection method and recording limits shall be specified in an agreement.
This part is not applicable to austenitic steel.
