Abstract
This part of GB 15579 specifies the safety and performance requirements for coupling devices.
This part applies to cable coupling devices used in welding and similar processes. The coupling device should be designed to be connected or disconnected without the use of tools.
This part does not apply to coupling devices used for underwater welding.
