GB/T 1864-2012 General methods of test for pigments and extenders—Comparison of colour of pigments
Abstract
This standard specifies a general test method for comparing the color of pigments with that of agreed reference pigments of the same type.
Chapter 6 of this standard provides two methods for preparing dispersions. The method of preparing dispersions with an automatic grinding machine is an arbitration method.
This standard is applicable to the comparison of the color of pigments with that of agreed reference pigments of the same type.
When this general method is not applicable to a particular pigment, a dedicated method should be specified for color comparison.
