Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of light steel keel for building applications. This standard applies to light steel keel for building applications used in non-load-bearing walls and ceilings that are clad with lightweight panels such as paper gypsum boards, decorative gypsum boards, and mineral wool decorative sound-absorbing panels. The accessories standard for light steel keel used in assembling walls and ceiling frames is JC/T 558.
