Abstract
This standard specifies the test methods for the flexural strength and flexural elastic modulus, grain-parallel tensile strength, grain-parallel compressive strength, grain-parallel shear strength, grain-perpendicular tensile strength, grain-perpendicular compressive strength, and grain-perpendicular compressive elastic modulus, as well as torsional elastic modulus of sawn timber used in structures.
This standard is applicable to sawn timber.
