Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, quality requirements, and food safety requirements for corn, as well as inspection methods, inspection rules, labeling and marking, and requirements for packaging, storage, and transportation.
This standard applies to commercial corn used for procurement, storage, transportation, processing, and sales.
This standard does not apply to glutinous corn, sweet corn, or special varieties of corn that fall outside the classification provisions of Chapter 4.
