GB 12358-2024 Gas detection and alarm instruments for workplace—General technical requirements
Abstract
This document defines the terms of environmental gas detection and alarm instruments in workplaces, provides a classification, specifies technical requirements, inspection rules, packaging, transportation and storage, marking, user manuals, and usage requirements, and describes test methods.
This document is applicable to the production and use of flammable gas, toxic and harmful gas, and oxygen detection and alarm instruments in workplaces.
Note 1: Gas detection and alarm instruments (referred to as instruments) include gas detectors, gas alarms, and gas detection and alarm instruments.
Note 2: For gas detection and alarm instruments used in other places, unless there are relevant standards stipulating otherwise, they shall be implemented in accordance with this document.
