Abstract
This document specifies the requirements for the detection of defects in X-ray (film) photography of straight welds and spiral welds of steel pipes in automatic fusion arc welding.
This document is also applicable to the detection of circular hollow profiles.
Note 1: Digital ray detection is an alternative method to this detection method, see ISO 10893-7.
Note 2: The ray detection of butt welds can be carried out as a reference.
