Abstract
This part of GB 5135 specifies the classification, nominal actuation temperature, color marking, model specifications, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, transportation, and storage for early suppression rapid response (ESFR) sprinklers. This part is applicable to early suppression rapid response (ESFR) sprinklers with nominal flow coefficients K 202 (pendant and upright types), K 242 (pendant and upright types), K 323 (pendant types), and K 363 (pendant types). Other types of early suppression rapid response (ESFR) sprinklers can refer to this part. This part is not applicable to special application sprinklers.
