GB 24820-2009 General technical requirements for laboratory furniture
Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and markings, packaging, storage, transportation, and usage instructions for laboratory furniture.
This standard applies to ordinary laboratory furniture such as physical experiment tables, chemical experiment tables, biological experiment tables, operation tables, and storage cabinets used in laboratories of schools, hospitals, scientific research institutions, and quality inspection units.
This standard does not apply to laboratory chairs, stools, and furniture used in special laboratories (such as aging and degradation evaluation, thermal effect, ergonomics, and fire prevention).
