This standard applies to pulse signal generators, serving as a technical basis for product design, appraisal, production, use, and testing, as well as a reference for establishing product standards for pulse signal generators.
This standard does not apply to signal generators with continuous or pulsed sine output, television signal generators, function generators, arbitrary waveform generators, data generators, etc.
