Abstract
This standard specifies the scope of application, terms and definitions, classification and marking, technical requirements, inspection rules, test methods, and packaging, labeling, transportation, and storage for cork paper. This standard applies to cork paper made from pure cork particles mixed with adhesives such as phenolic resin adhesives, phenolic novolac adhesives, modified epoxy resin adhesives, and polyurethane resin adhesives. The cork paper is made by mixing, molding, and curing the mixture, then cutting it into sheets or rolls for use.
The cork paper defined in this standard is mainly used for making static sealing gaskets, building deformation joint fillers, clutch friction plates, and bulletin boards, etc.
