GB/T 5008.1-2013 Lead-acid starter batteries—Part 1:Technical conditions and methods of test
Abstract
This part of GB/T 5008 specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of lead-acid batteries used for starting, ignition, and lighting in various automobiles, tractors, and other internal combustion engines.
This part is applicable to exhaust-type (wet-cell) lead-acid batteries (hereinafter referred to as batteries) and valve-regulated (with gas-combined function) lead-acid batteries with a rated voltage of 12 V, used for starting, ignition, and lighting in various automobiles, tractors, and other internal combustion engines.
This part is not applicable to batteries used for other purposes, such as batteries for starting internal combustion engines in railways.
