GB/T 5169.26-2018 Fire hazard testing for electric and electronic products—Part 26:Smoke obscuration—Summary and relevance of test methods
Abstract
This part of GB/T 5169 provides an overview of the test methods used to evaluate smoke obscuration. It briefly summarizes the static and dynamic test methods commonly used in international standards, national standards, or industry standards, including special observations related to the correlation between electrical and electronic products and their materials and fire situations. It also provides usage recommendations.
This part is intended for product standard committees to use in preparing standards in accordance with the principles set forth in IEC Guide 104 and ISO/IEC Guide 51.
One of the tasks of product standard committees is to use this part where applicable when preparing standards. Unless specifically mentioned or listed in the relevant standards, the requirements, test methods, or test conditions of this part will not apply.
