Abstract
This document describes the principles of measuring the radial, tangential, and volumetric shrinkage of flawless small sample wood, the testing equipment, samples, testing procedures, result calculation, and test result recording and reporting. This document is applicable to the measurement of the radial, tangential, and volumetric shrinkage of flawless small sample wood from the saturated (or green) state to the air-dried and fully dried states.
