GB/T 44227-2024 Management of terminology resources—TermBase eXchange(TBX)
Abstract
This document specifies the basic concepts, meta-model, data categories, and XML schemas (DCA - attribute-based data categories and DCT - tag-based data categories) for describing terminology resources, and describes the method of defining the TBX dedicated markup language.
This document is suitable for analyzing and understanding terminology datasets or designing new terminology databases that comply with international standards, national standards, and best practices. Typical users include programmers, software developers, terminology experts, analysts, and other language professionals, with application fields including translation and writing.
Note: The TBX dedicated markup language is defined by industry stakeholders. Any materials required for implementing the current shared dedicated markup language are publicly available as independent industry standards.
