Abstract
This document establishes general rules and guidelines for the presentation of information in electrical engineering documents, and provides specific rules for diagrams, graphs, and tables used in electrical engineering.
This document does not include rules and guidelines for creating various audio, video, or haptic presentations.
This horizontal document is primarily intended for use by technical committees in the preparation of standards based on the IEC Guide 108.
One of the responsibilities of technical committees is to use horizontal documents when preparing publications, unless it is explicitly stated in the publication that they are not applicable or the content of this horizontal document is not suitable.
