Abstract
This document specifies the types of human chromosomal genetic markers and short tandem repeat loci selected for establishing a forensic DNA database, and defines the file format, data structure, and basic requirements for data exchange between national forensic DNA databases and external systems.
This document is applicable to the construction of forensic DNA databases and the design, development, and testing of external systems (such as DNA laboratory management information systems and DNA data analysis software) that exchange data with forensic DNA databases.
