Abstract
This part of GB/T 25121 specifies the operating conditions, quality requirements, and inspections for power electronic capacitors, as well as overload protection, safety requirements, marking, installation, and application guidelines.
This part applies to power electronic capacitors used in rail transit locomotives and vehicles.
The rated voltage of the capacitors covered by this part is up to 10,000 V.
The operating frequency of systems using such capacitors is typically less than 15 kHz, while the pulse frequency can reach 5 to 10 times the operating frequency.
Capacitors are divided into AC capacitors and DC capacitors.
Capacitors are installed as components in housings.
