Abstract
This document specifies the principles, instruments and materials, samples, operations, result presentation, precision, and test reports for determining the flammable content of basalt fibers.
This document describes two test methods for determining the flammable content of basalt fibers, namely:
——Method A: Muffle furnace combustion method;
——Method B: Soxhlet extraction method.
Method A is an arbitration test method.
This document is applicable to basalt fiber yarns, chopped raw fibers, ground fibers, fabrics, felts, and other products.
