This part of GB/T 3480 specifies the calculation standards and related technical data for the service life (or the safety factor of the required service life) of gears under variable load conditions. The load-bearing capacity calculation method for spur and helical cylindrical gears specified in GB/T 3480 can also be applied to other similar gears.
