Abstract
This standard specifies the management requirements, technical requirements, process control requirements, and requirements for internal quality control and external quality assessment of food microbiology testing laboratories. This standard applies to the quality control of microbiology testing laboratories for food, food additives, animal feed, food processing machinery, food packaging materials, and environmental samples in food processing environments. Laboratory accreditation bodies may refer to and use this standard for reference.
