Abstract
This standard specifies a number of parameters for describing woven fabrics, including the fiber composition of the fabric, the labeling of yarns, the structural parameters of the fabric, and the processing characteristics of the fabric. The description parameters of woven fabrics are not limited to those listed in this standard, and additional information can be provided as needed.
This standard applies to all woven fabrics except carpets.
