Abstract
This document specifies the sampling method for insulating fluids, including the sampling method for insulating fluids in transportation containers and electrical equipment [such as power transformers, instrument transformers, reactors, bushings, oil-filled cables, oil-filled capacitor tanks, switchgear, and on-load tap-changers (LTCs)].
This document is applicable to mineral oils and non-mineral oils (such as synthetic esters, natural esters, or silicone oils) with a viscosity of less than 1,500 mm2/s (or cSt) at the sampling temperature.
