Abstract
This standard is used to measure the torque required to screw and unscrew metal bone screws (hereinafter referred to as "screws") into standard materials. The results obtained using this standard are not directly related to the rotational torque required to screw the screws into human bone. The purpose of this standard is solely to confirm the consistency of the products being tested.
