Abstract
This standard specifies the general methods for collecting, organizing, and archiving electronic documents with preservation value that are generated during official activities, as well as for cataloging, managing, and disposing of electronic archives.
This standard applies to the archiving of electronic documents and the management of electronic archives generated by government agencies, organizations, enterprises, institutions, and other entities during the processing of official business. The archiving of electronic documents and the management of electronic archives generated during other activities can be implemented with reference to this standard.
