GB/T 21864-2008 Standard test method for molecular weight averages and molecular weight distribution of polystyrene—High performance size-exclusion chromatography
Abstract
1.1 This standard specifies a method for determining the average molecular weight (Mw) and molecular weight distribution of linear soluble polystyrene using high-performance size-exclusion chromatography (HPSEC). This method is not an absolute method and requires the use of commercially available polystyrene standards with narrow molecular weight distribution for calibration. This standard is applicable to the elution volume containing molecular weight components and the determination of samples within the range determined by the polystyrene standard (molecular weight generally ranging from 2,000 g·mol-1 to 2,000,000 g·mol-1).
