Abstract
This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and the contents of purchase orders (or contracts) for alumina (Al2O3). This document is applicable to alumina produced from bauxite, recycled alumina raw materials, etc. as raw materials, and used in the production of metallic aluminum by molten salt electrolysis, as well as to alumina used as raw materials for the production of corundum, ceramics, refractory products, and other alumina chemical products.
